New scooter Yamaha Latte designed a modern style to match the price with rival Honda Lead, making the popular segment of the scooter continue to “rise up”.
Not long ago, Yamaha motorcycle manufacturers launched FreeGO station cars and immediately attracted attention from the two-wheeled motorbike village in Vietnam. This model is rated as a direct rival of Honda Air Blade. But it hasn’t stopped there, recently Yamaha continues to introduce Latte scooter to Vietnam market to compete with Honda Lead.
About the appearance Yamaha Latte has a harmonious combination of softness and luxurious details inherited from Nozza. Part of the front mask is highlighted by smooth lines, the middle edge of the nose is pulled together with the pair of lights arranged on both sides in the form of a crescent moon.
And yet, Yamaha Latte is equipped with a modern LCD electronic clock cluster, a highlight for Yamaha rookie. Along with that, the fuel tank lid is arranged in the front to create convenience for the driver when it is necessary to stop the fuel tank. The car is equipped with a very modern smart key.
The foot floor is spacious, with the steering wheel lowering to create a comfortable driving position for the driver. If in the segment of popular scooters, Honda Lead is still dubbed the “champion” of trunk under saddle, a point very popular among women. Latte is also impressing now with a 37-liter bag
However, in terms of engines, though Yamaha Latte is equipped with a modern Blue Core 125cc engine, with a single-cylinder structure. But the output capacity of products from Yamaha is slightly weaker than Honda Lead 125. However, Latte is still flexible and responsive with a maximum power index of 8.2 hp and maximum torque of 9.7 Nm.
It is worth mentioning that Yamaha Latte has recently been officially closed with the listed price in Vietnam market at a reasonable level of VND 37.49 million. This price is comparable to standard Honda Lead but much lower than high-end Lead and matte black. Not to mention that the Honda Lead selling price when returning to dealers is often higher than the proposed price.
Both Yamaha Latte and Honda Lead are aimed at female customers. Each model has its own advantages and shows that it is two worthy opponents.
